Throughout her educational career, Dr. McIntosh has shone as a distinguished student. She was honored to receive scholarships and awards like the American Academy of Periodontology Award, the Mary Ellen Carty Scholarship, the Oral Pathology Award, and the Oral Diagnosis Award. She provided dental care to Moose Factory Ontario during her fourth year of study and she was immensely affected by the experience. After graduating, Dr. McIntosh practiced in Kirkland Lake, ON and worked in numerous practices providing outstanding periodontal services. She enjoys time with her husband and their two children with whom she lives in the Oakville area.
Dr. McIntosh co-authored an article with Dr. Robert S. Turnbull M.ScD and David Locker PhD in 2002. This article, “Risk Indicators for Periodontal Disease in a Remote Canadian Community-a Dental Practice-Based Study.” was published in the Journal of Public Health Dentistry.
